Hello my lovely Rapunzels,
So, My today’s topic is- A Perfect Hairstyle–for every face shapes.
We all want to look beautiful and one essential part of beauty is our hair.A hair can change a look completely.A good hair style can make you 10 years younger whereas a bad hairstyle can make you look much older.
The perfect hairstyle will bring out our best features, camouflaging those that are not so attractive.
So..How do we know what will be the perfect hairstyle for us.To know that we need to understand our face shapes first.Different people have different face shapes. That’s why one hair style might not looks good on other.

Know Your Face Shape
Knowing your Face Shape is a easy Process. To get an honest appraisal try the following steps:

• First, If your hair is medium/long, do a ponytail. If it is short skip this step.
• Use a headband ,to pull your hair back and notice your face on the mirror intently.
• Measure Across your forehead, at the widest point.
• Measure the widest length across cheekbones.
• Measure jawline at the widest point.
• To know the length of your face, place the ruler under the eyes and measure from ear to ear.(Just before the ear).
• place the ruler at the top of your forehead at your hairline and measure to your chin.
• Your ratio will either be 1 (face width) to 1 1/2 (face length) or 1 to 1 or 1 to 2.
• Please Note: Due to Age,fat,stress your face might look different that it actually is.So try to measure by bone and not by fat or muscle.
• Write down the measurements in a paper.

    There are 6 types of face shapes :

1. The Heart-Shaped Face
2. The Square Face
3. The Round Face
4. The Diamond Face
5. The Long (or "Oblong") Face
6. The Oval Face

1) The Heart-Shaped Face

• Wider in forehead area, and narrow jawline   
• May have a pointy cheek.
• Looks like “Inverted Triangle”

2)  The Square Face
Square faces have following features:

• The width of forehead, cheekbones, and jaw are equal or semi.
• You have sharp, angular features including a sharp jawline.
• Your face ratio is 1:1 or 1 :1 1/2.(refer to prev steps of measuring)

 
3) The Round Face
Round faces have following features :

• The width  forehead, cheekbones, and jawline are equal.
• Jawline is slightly rounded.
• Soft features in general. The difference between a round face and a square face (which also measures the same across as long) lies in the angles. Square faces have strong, angular features, whereas a round face has more soft rounded features.
• Your face ratio is 1:1.

4) The Diamond Face
Diamond faces have following features :

• Widest cheekbones
• Jawline and forehead are the same length, but narrower than the cheeks.

5) The Long Face

• The face shape is longer than wider.
• The face ratio is 1:1 1/2

5) The Oval Face

• The length of face is 1 1/2 times of width
• It’s the versatile face shape and suites all kind of hair cuts.

What is our aim??
Every Face is beautiful, every face has its own beauty.But among all the face shapes,The Oval Face Shaped people tend to be more photogenic.The face is perfectly proportionate.Thus make a nice appearance in Photo Frame.
So, Our aim will be to give such good haircut to each face shapes,which creates an illusion of being a Oval Shaped Faced.
Hair Styles for Face Shapes
The Heart-Shaped Face:
Let the hair flow, around the faced until jawline or below it.This will create a narrow forehead and less pointed chin.
Hair Cuts like Side-Swept bangs,bobs, Deep Side Part,Loose Waves are some way to create a illusion of being a Oval shaped Face.
Here are some celebrities with Heart Shapes Face carrying gorgeous hairstyles:
 
If you notice, most of the efforts are given to narrow down the forehead by having side-swept bangs and deep side part.The hair flows around jawline to make it look wider.
2) The Square Face Hairstyle
The aim is to keep away the focus from the wide jawline.The best haircuts are :        Angled Bob, Long Layers,Curly for short Hair,Off-Center Parting.
Some of the celebrities styling of Square shaped Face are:

Notice the hairstyle, One is having angled bob, whereas Another is having long layers with loose waves and off center parting.
The Round Face Hairstyle
The idea is to creating some volume on top of your head,so that the round face shape turns into oval.
The best hair cuts for round shape are : Side-Swept Bangs,long –straight hair with few layers near collarbone,Voluminous BOB.

So here, Mila-Kunis is carrying long –straight hair with few layers near collarbone whereas Shilpa Shetty is flaunting shoulder length hair with layers going outwards from her face.
